Watershed Planning Across Municipal Boundaries: A Workshop on Intermunicipal Collaboration
In partnership with the Hudson River Estuary Program and the Center for
Research, Regional Education and Outreach at SUNY New Paltz, the Hudson
River Watershed Alliance organized a workshop on intermunicipal
watershed coordination and planning for local watershed leaders and
elected officials. Held on April 21st at SUNY New Palz, the workshop
featured presentations that provided tools for intermunicipal watershed
collaboration, as well as examples of some successes and challenges
faced by existing intermunicipal councils. Project funding was provided
by the New York State Environmental Protection Fund through the Hudson
River Estuary Program of the NYS Department of Environmental
Conservation and Mid-Hudson Geosciences.
